Heliports and Airports of the World

A global database of heliports and airports around the world. Data includes latitude and longitude, full name, ICAO code, Country, Region and so on. Perfect for use in a Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or as an extra dimension to enable locations to be identified and named on systems in conjunction with ADS-B data.

Data coverage numbers (updated 06 October 2025). Items in the “Research” column have been added to the file but are awaiting validation - at which point they get added to the “Active” numbers

The Parapex database of Airports and Heliports is available in Excel format by annual subscription.  Pricing is dependent on the frequency of updates - quarterly, semi-annually or annually,

A subscription to Parapex data also includes unlimited email access to the research team for questions on specific locations, suggestions of new heliports to add and so on.
