Helicopter Database

The Parapex Media helicopter database covers EVERY airframe for each of the helicopter types we cover.

For EACH airframe, we then hold data on

  • MSN Manufacturer Serial Number

  • Registration Marks

  • Additional “Fleet number” Marks, common with parapublic and pure military airframes

  • Country of Registration

  • Make and Model

  • Year of Manufacture

  • Operating role (eg Offshore, Wind Farm, Law Enforcement, EMS, Loadlifting, Tours, etc)

  • Airframe status (eg current, completion centre, stock awaiting resale, stored, demonstrator, training aid)

  • Operating base - the usual airport or heliport where the airframe is kept

  • Country of Operating base

  • Owner and date of purchase

  • Operator

  • Contracted Client

  • Contract dates where available

For airframes not yet in active service, our data shows

  • Future orders and LOIs not yet test flying

  • Airframes currently test flying

  • Airframes currently in completion

If the airframe is no longer in active service, our data shows

  • Current status and location (eg storage location, parting out location, accident date/location)

We have other fields which allow us to search/select data on the basis of

  • Civil or Military

  • Single/Multiple engine (eg a request for data on “multi-engine helicopters in country X” is quite common)

  • Engine manufacturer and model

  • Airframe manufacturer - where built under licence from Design OEM

The Parapex database of Airports and Heliports is available in Excel format by annual subscription.  Pricing is dependant on the frequency of updates - quarterly, semi-annually or annually,

A subscription to Parapex data also includes unlimited email access to the research team for questions on specific locations, suggestions of new heliports to add and so on.
